Navsari is a city municipality and the administrative headquarters Navsari District of Gujarat. It is also the Twin City of Surat.The city of Navsari has been associated with various names like Nag Vardhana, Nag Shahi, Nag Sarika, Nag Mandal, Nav Sarika and Nav Sareh. As per 2011 census Navsari had a population of 171,109. Navsari had an average literacy rate of 88%, and Gujarati is the main language spoken in Navsari while the other languages spoken are Hindi and Sindhi.
