Miryalaguda is a city in Nalgonda district of the Indian state of Telangana. The government of India announced Miryalaguda to be developed under the Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation (AMRUT) scheme. Miryalaguda has Grabbed an award for Urban reforms in the AMRUT Scheme from the Government of India. As per provisional reports of Census India, the population of Miryalaguda in 2011 is 103,817; of which male and female are 52,005 and 51,812 respectively. Although Miryalaguda city has a population of 103,817; its urban/metropolitan population is 104,918 of which 52,565 are males and 52,353 are females. It is around 140 km from Hyderabad, 140 km from Amaravathy Capital of Andhra Pradesh, 126 km from Guntur, and 150 km from Vijayawada. It is connected by both rail and road.
