Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan was the first Vice president of Independent India, a philosopher, and a Bharat Ratna recipient who has a unique perspective on education and knowledge. His students sought to celebrate this Birthday but as he did not appreciate any celebration this day was dedicated to Teachers like him. From that day onwards this day is celebrated as Teacher’s Day which the students celebrate with a lot of enthusiasm.
