About Shirur
Shirur is an administrative subdivision of a Pune district of the Indian state of Maharashtra. Shirur City is located on east boundary of the Pune district on the banks of Ghod River . The town is also known as Ghodnadi to distinguish it from identical places. Ghodnadi in Marathi language also known as Ghod River .
Shirur Taluka's MIDC is among one of the famous and largest industrial region in Asian Continent. Industrial area is developing here rapidly day by day. Many popular Manufacturing companies are established here.
