About Narasapuram
Narasapuram (or Narsapur) is a town in West Godavari district of the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. It is a municipality and mandal headquarters of Narasapuram mandal in Narasapuram revenue division. The town is situated on the banks of the Vasista Godavari River. The lace industry is prevalent in the city and its surroundings.
Narsapur was also known as ""Nrusimhapuri"", named after the Lord Narasimha. Gradually it changed into Narasimhapuram and now to Narasapuram.
