About Masalia
Masalia is a community development block that forms an administrative division in the Dumka Sadar subdivision of the Dumka district, Jharkhand state, India. Masalia, the eponymous CD block headquarters, is located at 24°9′29″N 87°11′4″E. It is located 16 km from Dumka, the district headquarters. There are 290 inhabited villages in Masalia CD block. In 2011, 108 villages had power supply. 8 villages had tap water (treated/ untreated), 290 villages had well water and all villages had drinking water facility.
