About Baruipur
Baruipur is a city and a municipality of South 24 Parganas district in the Indian State of West Bengal. It is a neighbourhood in South Kolkata. It is a part of the area covered by the Kolkata Metropolitan Development Authority (KMDA). It is the headquarters of the Baruipur subdivision and also the seat for the Sub-Divisional Court. The Baruipur Police District is responsible for law enforcement in the city.
