About Amaravati
Amaravati is the legislative capital and the de facto seat of government of the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. The city is located on the banks of river Krishna in Guntur District. Built on allotted space on the southern banks of Krishna River in Guntur district selected close to the geographical center of the state. Amaravati was founded by former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu in 2014 as the Greenfield administrative capital city of the Andhra Pradesh state. Amaravati translates literally as 'the place for immortals'.
