As per the 2011 provisional census, Navi Mumbai has a population of 1,119,477. It is situated across two districts namely Thane and Raigad. CIDCO administered the remaining newly developed and developing nodes in the Raigad district. This city is known for its wonderful infrastructure which is connected to other parts of the state and country but is less popular in comparison to Mumbai.
