About Kotdwar

Kotdwar is a tehsil in Pauri Garhwal district in Indian state of Uttarakhand. Its old name was Khohdwar, which means the gateway of the river Khoh: as Kotdwar is located on the bank of river Khoh so it was named Kotdwar.
