Babita Kumari Phogat is a famous Indian female wrestler, who won a gold medal in 2014 Commonwealth Games. She also won silver medals at the 2010 and 2018 Commonwealth Games, and a bronze medal at the 2012 World Wrestling Championships. She entered politics by joining BJP in 2019. Babita is Geeta Phogat's younger sister and the daughter of wrestler and Dronacharya Award recipient Mahavir Singh Phogat. Her family has majorly contributed to bringing a swift change in the mindset and attitude of people towards girls in Haryana. Babita participated in Nach Baliye with her Vivek Suhag. They later got married in November 2019.
