When is Ganesh Chaturthi in 2021 ?

Ganesh Chaturthi will be celebrated on 10th September in 2021. This occasion is the celebration of Lord Ganesha’s birth. It is widely celebrated all over India to welcome Lord Ganesha to their home for peace and prosperity. Ganesha is the God of knowledge, strength and wisdom. According to mythological facts, Goddess Parvati made Lord Ganesha the strongest God whom no one can face in any war. But unknowingly Lord Shiva once cut off his head and to calm Parvati’s rage Lord Shiva along with other Gods fixed Ganesha’s face with an elephant's head. And on Ganesh Chaturthi, Shiva also proclaimed that before any other God, Ganesha will be the deity to be worshipped first.
