The rakhi contains beads of many diferent sizes, shapes, colours and materials. The centre has rings of white stones followed by mouli coloured beads. That is followed by golden rings and three sets of rhomboid rings each separated by golden rings. The mouli thread runs through all the elements to keep it in place.
