Personalised Gifts on Valentine’s Day : Badrinath

"Oh! little loveliest lady mine, What shall I send for your valentine? Summer and flowers are far away; Gloomy old Winter is king to-day; Buds will not blow, and sun will not shine: What shall I do for a valentine? I ’ve searched the gardens all through and through For a bud to tell of my love so true; But buds are asleep, and blossoms are dead And the snow beats down on my poor little head." - Laura Elizabeth Richards

About Badrinath

About

Badrinath is a holy town and a nagar panchayat in Chamoli district in the state of Uttarakhand, India. It is the most important of the four sites in India's Char Dham pilgrimage and gets its name from the temple of Badrinath. The Badrinath temple is the main attraction in the town. According to legend Shankar discovered a black stone image of Lord Badrinarayan made of Saligram stone in the Alaknanda River. He originally enshrined it in a cave near the Tapt Kund hot springs.
