When is Women's Day in 2020 ?
Women’s Day is celebrated on a fixed date which is the 8th of March. The first celebration took place in New York in 1910 when women activist and German revolutionary Clara Zetkin proposed that March 8th as the day to honour women. United Nations recognised the day to celebrate International Women’s Day since 1975. This day is celebrated to honour all the women in the world for everything they do, and that the world becomes a better place for women, to provide them with equal opportunity and equality. In many asian countries, this day is observed as a public holiday for women.
