How This Rakhi Become Special For Deepika Padukone?

Deepika Padukone, the Filmfare winning Bollywood actress may not have a brother of her own, but this Rakhi in India, she decided to make her Rakhi celebration special by making a rakhi brother for herself. She tied Rakhi on the wrists of her bodyguard, Jalal, and made him her ‘rakhi brother’. Jalal is the one who looks after her wherever she goes. He works round the clock. He is her shadow. So, she decided to tie him a rakhi. Apparently, the actor makes it a point to acknowledge the hard work that he puts into ensuring her safety. There have been times when Jalal has gone out of his way to avoid any mishap.

Jalal, who has been working with the actor for two years, is called Deepika’s ‘one-man army’ by her team members. Deepika thought this was the best day to show him that she understands the efforts he puts into protecting her. The actor also considers Jalal her family, since she doesn’t live with her parents in Mumbai. Her family includes father Prakash Padukone, mother Ujjala Padukone and younger sister Anisha Padukone who live in Bangalore. Since he has worked with her for a long time, the two share a good rapport and hence this emotional gesture towards him.

The special bond they share makes Deepika feel safe and secure with him and she thinks that is what Raksha Bandhan is all about. The Raksha which a brother provides is fulfilled aptly by her Rakhi brother Jalal and the bond they share is special. This Rakhi in India, Deepika made herself happy.
